The Love INC women’s shelter recently witnessed an exodus of several long time guests. Katrina, who had been a mainstay at the shelter, moved out a month ago and now works as a care provider for an individual in the local area.  Brenda, along with her three children, was able to procure an apartment in McMinnville and moved in two weeks ago with the help of her Love INC mentor.  Her oldest daughter is looking for work while the other two are enrolled in school.

Jennifer also moved to McMinnville and rooms with Brenda. To help with rent, she works part-time as a caregiver for a local in-home care company. All three of these guests have been excited to wrap up the shelter chapter of their lives and are elated to be making significant strides towards self-sufficiency.

We are proud to have walked alongside them as they’ve worked towards the goal of finding their own places and means to provide for themselves.
