As a Christian, one of the best ways to grow in relationship with God is to read His Word. Even though most Christians know this, it can still be a challenge to pick up the Bible and spend time listening to what God is saying through it. There is a constant need for encouragement to spend time in the Scripture.
“Jennifer,” a Relational Ministry participant, shared that she has started reading her Bible, beginning in Matthew. She said it is a rewarding experience but she also finds it to be confusing at times. Other participants were encouraged by her dedication to spiritual growth despite the challenges, and they appreciated her honesty about it being a difficult task.
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” -2 Timothy 3:16-17
