“Felicia,” a Relational Ministry client, is a student at the University of Portland and didn’t have access to a computer.
She spends four hours on public transportation in order to get to and from school. Because she didn’t have a computer, she then had to spend hours in the library at George Fox University to do homework. This situation is less than ideal for a busy student with a challenging workload.
Another Relational Ministry client, “Carmen,” was able to see how a personal tragedy could be used to help others. Carmen’s daughter recently passed away, leaving behind a computer. Carmen decided to bless Felicia by giving it to her.
It’s amazing to see how God can give the strength to help others even in the midst of difficult times!
“Seek the Lord and his strength; seeks his presence continually!” –1 Chronicles 16:11
