The Board of Directors is happy to announce the newest member of our team, Glen Merriman! We are excited with the vision and experience Glen brings to this ministry! While he is learning everything about Love INC, he wanted to make sure to introduce himself to you as well: Greetings! I am grateful to the Lord Jesus and the Board of Directors of Love INC for entrusting me with the privilege to be a co-laborer in the Kingdom work of this ministry. Words cannot express the sense of excitement and anticipation I have for this season of  Love INC ministry in this community and my personal life. I stand in amazement of the Lord’s gracious and kind care for His Kingdom work and those who labor in it. My fervent prayer is that together we will continue to see the love of Christ advanced in Newberg and the surrounding communities. Breakfast Bags Have Transformed!

By | 2016-10-11T20:40:38+00:00 October 11th, 2016|Announcement|

DROP IN CENTER IS NOW TAKING RELIEF BREAKFAST AND LUNCH ITEMS 2nd Street Church offers their amazing office space on 1st Street to the transient community when they are open, and they have been dispersing the Breakfast Bags and Sack Lunch Kits. What they noticed was that not everyone enjoyed everything in these bags, and a lot of food was going to waste. Now, they take those items out of the bags and place them on the shelf shown above. Anyone who is hungry can stop by the office (during open hours) and pick a certain number of items off the shelf. They have access to a microwave where they can heat up their breakfast or lunch and plenty of space to enjoy and eat. Even better news: you can still help contribute to this ministry! ITEMS COLLECTED: Soup with pop top Cup of Noodles Microwave Mac N Cheese Protein bars Crackers with peanut butter or cheese Packs of peanuts Fruit and applesauce cups (the applesauce in the little pouches are not as popular) 100% juice boxes/pouches Hot chocolate packets These items can be dropped off directly to the 2nd Street office at 504 E 1st St Monday - Friday, 9AM to 1PM. We are so excited to see this ministry evolve to serve our community even better!
